Retreats are beneficial to anyone wanting to take their meditation practice further/deeper. An archer's arrow becomes worthy or performance when pulled back on the bow. The farther the arrow is in retreat, the further it will travel forward. It's the same for the retreat participant. We go on a meditation retreat, learn knowledge, eat sattvic foods, enjoy deep meditations, and learn advanced techniques such as ROUNDING. We're drawing back the bow and making ourselves worthy of performance so when we return to the world, we do so radiating bliss and hightened consciousness. We've made headway and our actions and performance takes us further into greater achievements, closer relationships, and a greater sense of Self. Retreats are turning points for all meditators.

Each participant will engage in an individually tailored program and receive instruction into the art of ROUNDING. Rounding is an advanced technique which combines a specific yoga asana sequence (physical postures), pranayama (yogic breathing technique) meditation and shavasana (resting technique), which creates deep rest and rejuvenates the entire body and mind. A Rounding Retreat  brings the equivalent benefit of over 3 months of daily meditation. You will dissolve years of accumulated stress, gain deep rest and be exposed to valuable Vedic knowledge.  Rounding retreats are a powerful way to move into higher states of consciousness and rejuvenate your body and mind.

Exploring the Veda

Exploring the Veda 1 will be held February 19th - 21st (email to sign up)

Course content
Exploring the Veda is a unique six-part course combining both theoretical understanding of the Veda and its practical application in our daily life.

The Veda is an ancient record of spiritual experience and is the source of yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, meditation and Indian philosophy. The Veda is knowledge of the true conscious intent of the universe. Acquisition of this knowledge allows one to attune their awareness to the ongoing and ever-changing laws of nature. This gives one the ability to experience more frictionlessness and cognize the right response at exactly the right moment.

You will also learn the advanced techniques of Cosmic Body Technique (CBT) and Rounding, which involves some light yoga and pranayama.

Course instructor

Thom Knoles —Thom is recognized as one of the most experienced teachers of the Veda’s true meaning and application. In 73 hours of lectures recorded over a two-year period, Thom delves deeply into the Veda and draws out the essence of the knowledge in a way that is both accessible and transforming.

Théo Burkhardt —An important aspect of the course is the time for discussion and exploration of themes with Théo This allows students to integrate the knowledge and relate it back to their own personal experience.

Course structure
The course is held on evenings and weekends in six seminars spread over 12 months.

The first installment can be taken as a standalone module or as the first part in the full series of six installments. Students must complete the installments in sequential order. Installments are spaced by a few months to give time to integrate the knowledge before taking on new material.

Every installment includes additional special techniques and rounding programs to practice at home over the weekend so it is recommended that students treat each weekend as a non-residential retreat.

The cost for sessions 1–6 is $600 per session.
